– A delegation led by Director General of OAO Belaruskali Ivan Golovaty and Director General of OAO Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) Yelena Kudryavets pay a visit to Washington on 25-28 April, BelTA learned from the BPC press service. The visit of the Belarusian delegation is part of the efforts taken by the Belarusian side to expand all-round trade and economic cooperation with the United States. The process of improving the bilateral Belarusian-U.S. relations creates favorable conditions for the enhancement of mutually beneficial contacts of the business circles of the two countries. The program of the visit includes meetings with the representatives of specialized committees of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. American lawmakers were told that the presence on the U.S. market is interesting for the Belarusian potash industry. The access to high-quality Belarusian products which boost the crop yield is interesting for American farmers. (belta)
